Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of advanced biometric electronics, including optical and capacitive technologies.
- Build and nurture a multidisciplinary team specializing in electronics, optics, and mechanics.
- Translate requirements into schematics and direct PCB layouts while ensuring design quality and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers through internal training and coaching sessions.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and thermal engineers to create integrated solutions.
- Lead testing, debugging, and design iterations, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Engage in technical discussions with global partners, representing your team effectively.
- Influence long-term strategy by establishing best practices and contributing to key decisions.
Qualifications You Need
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing electronics design teams.
- Proficiency in analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics.
- Certified to work on electrical systems (e.g., decree 250/2021 §5 or equivalent).
- Experience with E-CAD tools (preferably Altium Designer).
- Strong project planning and requirements management skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge in electro-optical integration and chip-level solutions.
- Familiarity with design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test principles.
- Experience in PCB layout and understanding of production constraints.
- Understanding of relevant consumer or industrial electronics standards.
- Czech language skills are an advantage.
