Join our team to work on a pioneering web and mobile project for collecting and analyzing clinical trial data. This significant project, essential during COVID vaccine trials with notable clients, is seeking contributors. Since 2018, our Brno-based web team has been developing and tailoring new features for each study. The team comprises three front-end developers, a back-end tech lead, and three testers, all managed by our manager alongside the client's product owner.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
- Actively engage in accurate planning and estimation efforts using project methods and tools.
- Skillfully gather requirements and organize/present developed features to clients.
- Perform complex tasks within the current methodology and quality standards, demonstrating success across various engagements.
- Independently drive project delivery within the established architecture, showcasing autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.
Requirements:
- Develop and deploy scalable backend services and APIs utilizing Node.js.
- Employ AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or RDS for a solid backend framework.
- Strong grasp of SOLID principles.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with contemporary frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in creating and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, and S3.
- Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns (Microservices, Serverless, etc.) and design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Observer, etc.).
