DevOps Specialist

ABOUT POSITION:

The overall project entails the development of a new mobile application for customers, e-commerce, and self-service web portals, back-office application to manage the frontend content, and managing the underlying infrastructure in AWS.

The primary assignment of this role is to support developers in ensuring a secure delivery of the aforementioned services. This includes checking static code scan results, dynamic scans, supporting in meeting security requirements, monitoring compliance in AWS, and supporting in defining security policies for both Azure DevOps and AWS.

JOB SUMARRY:

• As a DevSecOps engineer, you will plan, implement, and manage security techniques in the given areas, guide IT teams in accordance with best practices in IT Security and DevOps.
• Perform security checks, identify problems in a timely manner, suggest and implement solutions for improvement, track existing processes, and implement new ones with the goal of optimizing the company’s overall security.
• You will support the teams responsible for containerized environments and cloud workloads to ensure their security.
• You are expected to cooperate with development, infrastructure, and network teams, coordinate collaboration, and guide any other teams when working on distinctive projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a DevOps engineer or in any IT Operations or Security roles.
• Solid knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Ansible, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with Linux, scripting, and development tools is welcome.
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP stack, subnetting, DNS, HTTP, SSH, Firewalls, etc.) would be considered a plus.
• Communicative level of Czech and English language.
• Expertise: AWS Cloud Security Services, Azure DevOps security policies, DevSecOps methodologies
