DevOps Admin

Every day, we handle billions of requests and millions of active users, managing hundreds of dockers and dozens of backends in several clusters around the world. 

We are currently looking for a senior partner for the position of DevOps Admin, who will fully take on the role, be able to support our fast development, and also bring ideas to improve the existing backend infrastructure.

Our application has been operational for several years, so this is not a greenfield project and you will not be alone. We have a sophisticated infrastructure operated in Google Cloud. Our entire backend consists of a large number of microservices that communicate with each other. We constantly process new weather data that flows to us from all over the world. The number of served users can sharply increase in any location, especially during natural disasters. Our systems are ready for this and adapt flexibly. When it's night in Europe, it's day in other parts of the world and vice versa, so we experience high loads literally 24/7 and in case of problems, we must be able to handle them operationally at any time.

What will you specifically do?

• Take care of the operation of our services.
• Participate with colleagues in on-call duty outside regular working hours. For most of the time, it is a passive service, where you just need to be available. An additional fee is provided for on-call duty beyond regular compensation.
• Develop automation tools - CI/CD, pipelines, monitoring
• Collaborate with developers when implementing new systems.
