DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a smart individual with experience in Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, application monitoring, and a passion for learning and improvement for the position of DevOps/SRE Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of applications in both production and development environments. This includes monitoring performance metrics (such as P99 page load time for clients, etc.), modifying and developing deployment environments, and automating the CI/CD pipeline.

/ Why we need a DevOps Engineer:

Currently, our client's CTO serves as the primary DevOps lead, and developers handle minor modifications and ad-hoc changes themselves. Our areas for improvement include low visibility of metrics, fragmented monitoring of logs, APM, and alerts across multiple platforms (DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus). Some Jenkins jobs are outdated or not defined as DSL.

/ How you will help us:

• Configuration, development, and optimization of DevOps environments - production, development

• Optimization of CI/CD processes

• Production and development alerting

• Deployment and modification of DevOps environments (OTEL, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

• Management and monitoring of Kubernetes cluster

• Management and monitoring of infrastructure applications - Kafka, Cassandra, Minio, Postgres (RDS), SOLR, etc. - CTO will provide training and assistance as this is our current stack

• Deployment of ArgoCD or a similar tool for declarative management of Kubernetes deployments

/ Stack:

• K8S clusters - AWS EKS + on-premise K8S for development environment

• RDS, S3, Minio, Kafka, SOLR (see "What you will do")

• Jenkins, bash, Docker

• SCRUM development

/ Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of practical experience with k8s DevOps

• Focus on performance and accountability for results
