DevOps Engineer

About this opportunity:

We are looking for DevOps engineers for our international client to shape the future of IT.

You will have the opportunity to take part in one of the rapidly growing DevOps units as a DevOps engineer.

The client advocates DevOps culture and tooling to clients as well as its own development teams and provides the advisory and technical implementation of all aspects of DevOps like continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, containerization, infrastructure, and configuration as code, cloud-native tools and applications, automated testing, and feedback loops.

What you can expect:

• Building automated solutions for customers a technical consultant
• Working with technologies within CI/CD application life cycle management, Containers, IAC, Automated configuration management, and Scripting e.g. with Github, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Golang to mention some of our preferred technologies
• Exploring new edge DevOps technologies
• Technical DevOps consultancy, advising our customers in their DevOps journey and implementing the necessary tooling and techniques
• Design and architecture of entire DevOps platforms, and deployment factories, adhering to the very best practices
• Participate in client workshops, inspirational presentations, and project proposals
• You will also have the opportunity to onboard, mentor, and develop junior DevOps engineers and consultants.

Perfect job for you, if you have:

• At least three years of experience in a technical/engineering position as a DevOps engineer, SRE, software engineer, software developer, operations engineer, automation engineer, or similar
• Strong experience with building or operating platform agnostics and interoperable CI/CD pipelines
• You can reconcile the concepts of Agile, ITIL, and DevOps within both a technical context and a business context
• You have experience with scripting in one of the following: Powershell, Bash, Python or Golang
• You are a professional within some of the following CI/CD technologies and best practices: Azure DevOps/TFS, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes
