Runecast is a patented AI-driven platform – built by Admins, for Admins – that enables Security and Operations teams to run stable, secure & compliant workloads anywhere. It converts industry sources of information into machine-readable data, then it scans data centers for any hidden problems, deviations from best practices, and non-compliance with security frameworks. It helps IT Admins to proactively remediate any issues in a fraction of the time.

Most of us are working from home or our Brno R&D HQ in the Czech Republic and our skills have convinced companies like Avast, DocuSign, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and many other big players to choose our award-winning solution to protect their data centers.

We are looking for an outstanding New Business Account Executive to be based remotely from the Czech Republic. 

As an outstanding New Business Account Executive, you will be a part of a growing start-up developing smart IT solutions. We are looking for a high-performing New Business Account Executive to join our team, to continue developing the Eastern European market and help bring the business to another level.

You will be responsible for lead hunting new business at mid-market to enterprise level and converting these new logos. As well as this you will be responsible for maximising our sales potential in the market, crafting sales plans working for the EMEA Sales Manager. 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new opportunities across Eastern Europe with your existing connections, through cold engagement and through warm leads generated by ongoing marketing activities.
  • Manage those opportunities throughout the whole sales cycle and closing them
  • Identify new market opportunities and help with shaping targeted go-to-market approach
  • Work closely with channel partners and continue to build a strong channel
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully expanding and on boarding new logo clients across mid-market and enterprise level
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

Requirements:

  • Successful previous experience as a Business Development sales representative or, covering the full sales cycle - from initial engagement to closure, consistently meeting or exceeding targets ideally in the Cloud and Security industry
  • A demonstrated background in either Software Cloud Solutions or Security Solution Business Development
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and IT B2B industry expertise within Eastern Europe 
  • Team player with the ability to act independently
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
