Development Engineer for Vehicle Integration (f/m/d)

• Development Engineer for Vehicle Integration is designing the procedure and implementing the integration of vehicle components into functional units with focus on electronic and software part. You will work with automotive buses such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet, you will participate in OBD diagnostics of subsystems and the whole vehicle and designing solutions for the purpose of verifying the functionality of vehicle systems.

Tasks

• Participation on development of new vehicles like Porsche, VW, etc.
• Integration and system validation of vehicle components i.e. Control Units (ECU), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), etc.
• Functionality modification and validation according to customer requirements
• Planning and execution of test runs
• Experiment, measurement and testing on vehicle prototypes
• Presentation of project results in project meetings

Requirements

• Degree with technical focus in Information Technologies, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering or in relevant educational background preferred or you can have an equivalent work experience
• Basic knowledge of programming in Python and C/C++ language and programming algorithms
• Strong analytic thinking with innovative approach
• Good command of English
• You are work service- and team-oriented, are self-confident and always have an eye for the essential
• You are flexible and travel national and abroad as required
• Previous years of working experience in electronics such as working with microcontrollers, communication buses and diagnostics is an advantage
