We are looking for an IT Security Specialist who understands security tools, can respond to incidents, and wants to actively increase security awareness across the organization.

Job Description

• Will be responsible for ensuring that company computers, networks, and data are protected from attacks both outside and inside.
• Will monitor whether security tools are functioning (e.g., "computer locks" = firewalls, programs for monitoring suspicious activities, etc.).
• When something suspicious happens (e.g., hacker attack), conducts analysis and helps resolve the situation according to security policies and standards.
• Prepares plans to respond to crisis situations (e.g., data breach and similar events).
• Conducts training for colleagues on safe computer behavior (e.g., not clicking on suspicious emails).
• Installs and maintains network devices (e.g., routers) within the company and at branches.
• Cooperates with controllers (auditors) who evaluate whether everything is secure.

Personal Requirements and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in IT security or in the position of IT Security Supervisor
• Technical education (preferably university degree in a technical field)
• Excellent knowledge of the Czech language and ability to communicate in English (everyday use)
• Attention to detail, responsibility, analytical thinking
• Independent approach, but also a team spirit
• Willingness to learn and follow security trends
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or similar
• Experience in managing security projects or audits
