Lead Project Engineer

We are in search of a seasoned and energetic Lead Project Engineer to become an integral part of our team. This position encompasses the duties of a Tech Lead, Team Lead, and Project Owner, necessitating a candidate with a robust technical foundation, leadership acumen, and a strategic outlook. The perfect candidate will demonstrate proficiency in business analytics, possess a comprehensive understanding of project intricacies, showcase expertise in development best practices, and be ready to undertake responsibilities associated with quality assurance and deployment in a healthcare project.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Business Analytics:

• Evaluate and comprehend project requirements, aligning them with the current system state.
• Engage with stakeholders to collect business insights and verify that project objectives align with organizational goals.
• Drive the transformation of business requirements into viable technical solutions.

In-depth Project Understanding:

• Conduct a thorough exploration of project details while maintaining a comprehensive system overview.
• Identify and address potential challenges, ensuring project technical aspects adhere to industry standards and best practices.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team to promote a thorough understanding of the project.

Patterns Knowledge and Development Best Practices:

• Apply and advocate for development best practices and coding standards.
• Showcase proficiency in design patterns and promote the reuse of existing project patterns.
• Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality.

Quality Assurance and Deployment:

• Take charge of the quality assurance process, guaranteeing the reliability and accuracy of healthcare project releases.
• Supervise deployment processes, including monitoring and resolving issues related to release and deployment activities.

Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Offer guidance on technical aspects and career development to team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Tech stack: React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, RESTful API, Javascript, Typescript, Material-UI, Jira, Gitlab

What experience should you have?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Technical Lead or in a comparable role, preferably within healthcare projects.
• Proficient business analytics skills, capable of aligning technical solutions with business requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Track record in quality assurance processes and deployment activities.
