Our client is a leading provider of transaction services, covering the full value chain of trading, clearing, settlement, and market data through highly integrated and automated IT systems. They develop advanced technology that enables access to global capital markets and serve several international exchanges as well as post-trade services.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As part of a multi-year project, the Data Management team is building a new risk and market data platform. The focus is on developing new functionality within a microservice cloud-native architecture to meet customer needs. Key tasks include the development and configuration of data management functionalities (e.g., data cleansing) and establishing new interfaces to a parallel risk calculation platform.
We are looking for a dedicated test engineer to join our IT hub in Prague and contribute to the functional and technical testing of the risk management system.
TECHNOLOGIES WE USE:
- Python, PyCharm
- OpenShift, ArgoCD
- gRPC
- PostgreSQL
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of two years of commercial experience in software testing
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Linux and the command line
- Working proficiency and communication skills in English
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with test automation of background applications
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Jira, X-Rays
- Basic knowledge of financial markets (e.g., bonds, equities, interest rate swaps, futures, options)
- Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (e.g., GCP)
- Experience with Grafana
