ABOUT POSITION:
Do you want to be part of a unique project for EUSPA (European Union Agency for the Space Programme)? Become a member of our team and be part of developing the EGNOS and Galileo navigation system or the Copernicus program.
We are looking for an experienced IT specialist in the field of server administration to join the EUSPA infrastructure management IT team.
What will be your task:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows servers. This includes investigating performance bottlenecks, application errors, and connectivity problems.
- Analyze event logs, system messages, and error codes to identify root causes.
- Configure and maintain DNS services.
- Create DNS records (such as A, CNAME, MX, and PTR records) to map domain names to IP addresses.
- Set up and manage DHCP servers.
- Allocate IP addresses dynamically to network devices.
- Monitor lease durations and address pools.
- HYPER-V and clustering
- Implement high availability using Hyper-V clusters.
- Set up failover clusters for improved availability.
- Configure shared storage, network redundancy, and heartbeat communication.
- Monitor cluster health and perform failover testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of industry experience
- Knowledge of Exchange, Skype, SQL Server, Sharepoint, IIS+.NET
- Administration of SCOM, SCCM, SCDPM, etc.
- Knowledge of MS Cloud M365, Azure administration
- Experience with reporting
- Possess one of the following certifications: MCP, MCSA, MCSE
- General overview of the required technologies
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
- English language at a communicative level (min. B2)
