Solution Architect / Tech Lead | IČO 8 - 10 000,- | 3 days onsite

ABOUT POSITION:

Within the CTO area we are responsible for ensuring an effective alignment between business and strategy, enabling the company to execute new technology opportunities. In doing so, we take care of software development and IT operation services for data products, provide infrastructure to drive the development of automation and robotics solutions and set up all necessary cloud infrastructure requirements to enable the usage of state-of-the-art technologies in a secure and regulatory compliant way. At Reference Data as a Service we focus on collecting, validating, and distributing reference data from internal and external sources required to run our broad business. 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design and architecture of data solutions for the Reference Data project, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring best practices in software development, data integration, and system architecture.
• Act as the primary interface to the Product Owner, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring clear and effective communication between stakeholders.
• Oversee the implementation of data solutions, including the use of Azure Databricks (ADBX) and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data processing and integration.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the data solutions through continuous monitoring and optimization.
• Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with data engineers, analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and provide training to team members on system architecture and best practices. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience with Azure Databricks (ADBX), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and other Azure services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database).
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proven track record as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in complex data projects.
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions and ETL processes.
• Background in financial services or similar regulated industries is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience managing and guiding technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and efficient solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
