Solana Guru- Blockchain developer/ remote in EU, contract

A team working at the forefront of Solana infrastructure is seeking a Solana expert to support the design, optimization, and advancement of high-performance blockchain solutions within the Solana ecosystem. This role involves acting as a key technical authority and active contributor across various initiatives, using your in-depth understanding of Solana’s architecture, tooling, and best practices.

As the Solana specialist, you will collaborate closely with RPC platform engineers, product leaders, and external partners to build and refine a robust, scalable access layer for decentralized applications. Your technical insight will play a central role in shaping architectural choices, boosting performance, and guiding teams through the complexities of developing on Solana.

• Provide expert-level knowledge and guidance on Solana blockchain technology and its ecosystem.
• Design and develop decentralized solutions on the Solana platform, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize development solutions and on-chain solutions for performance.
• Stay updated on Solana’s updates, technical enhancements, and community developments to ensure the team follows best practices.
• Conduct workshops, mentoring sessions, and training for team members to enhance their understanding of Solana.
• Contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

🎯skills needed

• Extensive experience working with the Solana blockchain and its architecture.
• Strong understanding of token standards, on-chain operations, and DeFi protocols on Solana.
• Familiarity with the Solana development ecosystem, including toolsets, relevant frameworks.
• Strong SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) or infrastructure operations background — someone who can manage servers, automate workflows, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Solid understanding of hardware, networking, and system administration (Linux, storage, monitoring, upgrades).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong desire to learn and stay up to date with evolving technologies in the blockchain space.

•  Ability to read a code (Rust, Bash, Javascript or other)
• Experience with other blockchain technologies and frameworks (e.g., Ethereum).
• Involvement in open-source projects or community contributions related to Solana or blockchain tech.
