We are looking for a technically oriented Payment Certification Engineer with an IT background, who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and maintaining high quality standards in software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare testing environments and relevant test data
  • Organize and execute L3 Certification testing of payment applications for POS terminals with Card Schemes (e.g. Visa, Mastercard)
  • Manage Certifications of payment terminals and Accreditations of cash register integrations
  • Support cash register integrators using our solutions, including coordination of their final Accreditation
  • Communicate with certification authorities, partners, and integrators (predominantly in English)
  • Analyze, track, and report defects and issues
  • Monitor and document progress of Certifications and Accreditations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
  • Review analytical and technical documentation to ensure compliance with feature development
  • Design test scenarios based on requirements and analytical findings
  • Actively participate in product development as a member of a Scrum team

Requirements:

  • IT background with strong analytical thinking
  • Experience or familiarity with software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools (e.g. Jira, Cucumber Studio, HP QC or similar)
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and quality-oriented personality
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), including test cases and specifications
  • Fluent Czech or Slovak

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with payment systems, POS terminals, or certification processes
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environment
