About the Position:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the migration of our BI solutions from on-premises SQL Server to MS Fabric. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a strategic initiative, designing solution structures across multiple layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum). You'll play a key role in developing new features and ensuring seamless integration into our modern BI platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migration of tables and semantic models to MS Fabric
• Internal testing, documentation, and optimization of migrated solutions
• Development of new features across solution layers

Requirements:

• Advanced experience with MS Fabric components (Lakehouses, Warehouses, Pipelines & Notebooks)
• Proficiency in T-SQL and Power BI/Fabric semantic models with DAX
• Knowledge of PySpark and Azure DevOps for versioning and deployment

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Azure Log Analytics and SSAS Tabular models
• Familiarity with DAX performance tuning and Power BI report development
