We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Engineer for a long-term international infrastructure support and consulting engagement. This position involves collaboration with a global technology leader, supporting enterprise clients across industries such as finance, manufacturing, and the public sector.
The role combines responsibilities of both technical consulting and advanced support, focusing on Active Directory and Identity & Access Management. It requires both proactive services (environment assessments, best practices, optimizations) and reactive support (incident resolution, performance tuning, root cause analysis).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced technical support in Active Directory and Identity & Access domains
- Troubleshoot complex AD issues (replication, Group Policy, performance, security)
- Assist with disaster recovery, migrations, and infrastructure tuning
- Conduct environment assessments and propose optimizations
- Collaborate with enterprise infrastructure teams
- Handle technical escalations and perform in-depth root cause analyses
- Work in a fully remote, distributed international delivery model
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory Domain Services
- Expertise in Group Policy, AD performance optimization, and replication
- Security and administrative knowledge of enterprise-level AD environments
- Solid troubleshooting skills in complex Windows-based infrastructure
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
- Ability to work independently in enterprise environments
- Excellent communication skills in English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager, ADFS, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Azure AD Connect
- PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of Windows diagnostic tools (ProcMon, WinDbg, NetMon, WPA)
- Understanding of ITIL processes and ticketing tools
