Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer for our client who provides trading, clearing, settlement, market data distribution and other services for a broad range of asset classes (securities, derivatives, FX…).

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

• As Scrum team member develop SW
• Developing a mission-critical system for trading power
• This position can be done remotely. But occasional (once per several weeks) visit of Team in the office can be required

 

Required skills and experiences:

• Practical experience in the development of Java applications (at least 3 years)
• Solid experience within the following technologies:
  • Core Java with concurrency
  • Spring, Hibernate
  • Messaging (RabbitMQ)
  • JUnit or similar
• Communication skills in English, verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a Scrum team
• Learning attitude

 

The following skills would be a plus:

• Git (GitHub)
• Maven and Jenkins
• Kafka
• Spring Boot, Tomcat
• Docker
• Cloud Service Providers (AWS)
• Messaging (RabbitMQ)
• Relational Databases (PostgreSQL)
• Kotlin

 

Assignment:

• Fulltime (100%)
• Duration: Q2 (1.4. – 30.6.)
• Start: 1.4.2022
• Location: Prague
• On-site vs. remote – 50:50
