Security Engineer

The Senior Security Engineer´s role is to identify security requirements and to plan, design and implement technical, organizational and procedural security measures to protect enterprise IT systems, business operations, and facility against security breaches and vulnerability issues. He/ she provides advice and guidance on security strategies to manage the identified risk, investigates major breaches of security, and recommends appropriate control improvements.

Tasks and responsibilities:   

• Revalidation of firewall rules
• Data capture for revalidation of firewall rules
• Capture revalidation requests according to a given list in an IT tool
• Complete missing information according to instructions (operational handbook)
• Inform on progress and potential issues

Who we’re looking for?

• Experience in data capture with willingness to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to work independently based on an operational handbook with a high degree of reliability and great attention to detail
• Affinity to Information Technology topics
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills would be an advantage
• Team player, highly motivated and engaging nature, positively assertive
