Jira Developer

We are looking for Jira Developer for our client who provides trading, clearing, settlement, market data distribution and other services for a broad range of asset classes (securities, derivatives, FX…).

 

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Design, development, customization and maintenance of our Information Security Management System
• Synchronization of data across different data sources with connections to other internal applications
• Extension of Jira functionality with groovy code (ScriptRunner) to meet organizational goals
• Ensure all code is testable and tested,
• Creating unit tests and work with quality engineers to develop integration tests
• Collaboration within the development team and integration of team member’s modules

 

You should possess and demonstrate following skills and qualifications:

• Significant programming experience in Java, Groovy, Scala or equivalent
• Strong ability to understand and modify existing codebases
• Experienced with writing unit tests and creating mock modules
• Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
• Knowledge about software development lifecycles
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab or similar for repository management, pull requests, code reviews etc.
• Utilization of software design patterns
• Application of Security by Design using security best practices
• Good communication skills in English
• Flexible, independent, and self-motivated work practices
• Ability to solve challenging tasks in a change oriented environment

 

Skills that would be a plus:

• Experience with configuring and maintaining JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, etc.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux administration
• Knowledge about Shell Scripting

 

Assignment:

• Fulltime (100%)
• Start: asap
• Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
• Location: Prague, remote work possible
