Kafka Engineer

Currently, our client is working on services to enhance their data platform with streaming patterns, utilizing on-premise Kafka technology. Their diverse range of services delivers real-time data streams to numerous consumers. To support these initiatives, they are seeking a skilled Kafka Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions across their expanding data streaming pipelines to enable new business use cases.

Here are the qualifications our client seeks in an ideal candidate:

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Kafka as a data engineer in high-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in setting up topics, brokers, producers, and consumers in multi-node clusters using either Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka
• Experience working with Schema registry, KSQL, Kafka Streams, and Kafka REST
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Collaborative team player with excellent English language proficiency
