Data Engineer

What you can expect:

• Being part of a small team, collaborating with other data engineers, data scientists, and developers on complex data projects
• Participate in the deployment, management, and orchestration of ML models
• Working in the cloud – Azure, GCP, or on modern Data Lake platforms
• Creating data solutions, developing in Spark, and programming mainly in Scala and Python
• Working on short-term pilot projects, but also long-term stable activities, according to preference

Perfect job for you, if you have:

• Experience with data application development, preferably in Scala, Python, or Java
• Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
• At least basic knowledge of Linux and versioning tools (Git)
• English at least B1/B2
• Nice to have:
• Cloud – Azure/GCP/AWS
• CI/CD tools and DevOps (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or others)
• Docker, Kubernetes experience
• Tools for processing streaming data - e.g. Spark Streaming, Flink, Beam, Kafka
• NoSQL databases, e.g. HBase, Cassandra, Mongo DB
• Orchestration tools, e.g. Airflow
