• Develop and build firmware for both RTOS-based and Linux-based biometric devices.
• Prepare, configure, and deploy Linux images, secure bootloaders, peripheral drivers, and application software.
• Act as the technical expert, solving complex challenges and driving innovation.
• Collaborate with architects to define system architecture and software specifications.
• Advise product managers on technical possibilities and constraints.
• Create detailed technical documentation and training materials.
• Mentor colleagues and guide new team members.

Requirements:

Here's what we’re looking for:

• Valid work permit according to Czech labor laws.
• 5+ years' experience in embedded firmware and software development.
• Proficient in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Expertise in embedded Linux, including preparation and driver development.
• Experience with communication protocols like USB, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
• Strong debugging skills using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge in secure coding, platform-independent design, and cryptography (PKI, X.509).
• Independent worker with excellent team collaboration skills.
• Effective communicator, able to explain complex concepts clearly.

• Driver or communication library development for Windows, iOS, or Android.
• Python skills for automation.
• Basic understanding of AI and deep learning technologies.

🎓 Education & Language Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent in English; Czech or Slovak is a plus.
