Role and Responsibilities

• Enhance and refine security operations by designing and implementing tools and methodologies that safeguard our infrastructure.
• Lead daily IT security operations, ensuring smooth function and security.
• Manage security tools such as IPS, EDR, SIEM, and VM.
• Provide expert guidance on all security-related matters and be the main point for escalations.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO to analyze security threats and execute responses.
• Stay updated on vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
• Initiate threat hunting and proactive response activities.

What We Are Looking For

• Valid work permit for Czechia.
• Over 3 years of experience in an L3 Security role and at least 5 years overall in Security.
• Ability to define use cases for SIEM development.
• Strong experience with XDR solutions, preferably MS Defender.
• Pro-active mindset with the ability to suggest security improvements.
• Knowledge of network and system attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
• Expertise in forensic and incident response toolkits.
• Excellent communication skills; frequent interaction with stakeholders and the CTO required.
• Ability to independently manage security projects.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
