Applications Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and document a deep end-to-end understanding of applications functions and business value.
- Act as a unifying element on fragmented application environment.
Partner with other teams on identifying efficient architecture and proposing solutions to respond on these. Recommend process and application improvements.
- Run and support projects related to application development, changes and operations.
- Work alongside operational security and engineering teams, ensure necessary system security.
- Stay current with new technology options and vendor products.
- Act as a liaison between other technical resources

Requirements

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong customer service focus with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, stakeholders and management. Demonstrate strong collaboration across all levels of the organization
- Adaptive team working style that creates an inclusive and engaging environment. Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, whilst participating fully as a member of the Application team
- Dynamically plan and prioritize work based on evolving business and operational requirements
- Decisive, ‘can do’ attitude whilst maintaining a clear solution-based approach to problem solving and seeing actions through to delivery
- Effective Persuasive Communication including the ability to influence SMEs and business stakeholders toward change and continuous improvement
- Understand the needs of and support a company with global operations
- Excellent spoken and written communication. Assertive and confident raising action points with senior individuals
- A team player that is willing to learn and adapt in a high pace delivery environment
- Respect company code of conduct.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience of working with multicultural global organization.
- Experience of working with complex application landscape with many relations and interfaces.
- Experience of effective use cases of application architecture, development tools and frameworks, application life cycle and similar.
