We are expanding teams and moving our e-commerce platform to the cloud. Are you looking for a job where you can see the impact and make progress? This is it. You will be part of the group e-commerce team, taking care of infrastructure (mainly OS and networks) and closely collaborating with development and architecture. You will report to the Cloud Platform team leader.
What will you do?
- Design and build cloud infrastructure for the e-shop: focus on scalability, resilience, and automation.
- You will manage the environment from integration to production: CI/CD, monitoring, backups, security.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to make the DevOps approach a natural part of everything we do.
- Write Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD).
- Improve monitoring and measurability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK…).
- Handle more complex incidents calmly and with a desire to get to the bottom of things.
- Help set best practices within the platform team.
- You will be on-call once a month.
What will you work with?
- Cloud & automation: Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible
- Applications & backend: Golang, Nginx + PHP-FPM, Nuxt.js
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB Atlas, Redis/KeyDB
- Messaging: RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus
- Monitoring & security: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, New Relic, Better Stack
What do we offer?
- Background of the largest pharma retail in Central and Eastern Europe and further expansion ahead.
- A role at the group level with an impact on the entire business.
- Space for growth and responsibility in a growing organization.
- Good money (salary + on-call allowances + bonus).
- Flexible time, possibility of home office.
- Laptop and phone for private use as well.
- 5 weeks of vacation, discounts at Dr. Max pharmacies, meal vouchers, contributions to leisure activities, and other benefits.
We are looking for you if:
- You have experience in IT Operations/DevOps (ideally e-commerce or other highly loaded applications).
- You manage containers and Kubernetes.
- You know CI/CD in practice.
- You know cloud (preferably Azure, but AWS/GCP is OK too).
- You understand network and security basics (VPN, FW, load balancers…).
- IaC makes sense to you and you use it.
- You can communicate, are proactive, and solve things systematically.
- Fluent English; Czech/Slovak at a native level.
- Willingness to be on-call about once a month.
How does the selection process work?
- Online meeting with the recruiter – we will introduce the company, team, and role, you introduce yourself.
- First round – meeting with the future boss and architect.
- Second round – meeting with the team (“trial day”) on current topics.
