SW Development Manager

An international software firm requires a SW Development Manager experienced managing multiple product teams to lead programmers in their SW development center based in Prague.

Job description:
The successful candidate will take a leading role in managing the design and development of applications related to a new generation of Hospitality solutions.  You will be working closely with architects, IT managers, SW and quality engineers in the US/Prague offices to insure the new requirements are developed and implemented in an efficient manner.
The position requires an experienced developer able to work closely with SW programmers and have a good understanding of SW development, especially related to C#/.NET.

Requirements:
- University degree is preferred or equivelant industry experience
- 10+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years as SW development team lead or management
- Strong hands-on experience with C# or C++ and related tech stack
- Strong experience with large SW development projects and complex customer implementations
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)
- Working knowledge of cloud native technology stack based on Azure or GCP
- Experience with SDLC tooling (Git, Jenkins, Jira or their alternatives)
- Ability to effectively lead while maintaining a sense of humor even under high pressure situations
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Czech language is not required but you must have a valid work visa
