Senior SW Developer C#/.NET

A dynamic US software firm requires an applications developer experienced with C#/.NET to work in their SW development center based in Prague

The solution includes a C#.NET backend and front-end targeting modern smart phone platforms: Google Android and Apple iOS. Another part of the team’s responsibility is the back office applications. Platforms: mainly C#, TypeScript, Angular.

Responsibilities:

Candidate will develop software for new applications incorporating cloud and mobile technologies.

Essential Functions:

- Designs, modifies, implements, and documents enhancements to software applications.

- Provides estimates of work based on knowledge and experience in a given work area.

- Writes product specifications, designs, and technical manuals.

- Plans and implements testing strategies for different areas of our products internally and externally.

- Ensures interoperability with third party products, operating systems, and existing software.

- Acts as a mentor of newly hired engineers.

- Maintains responsibility of assigned tasks by using experience and knowledge of environment to make development decisions

Requirements:

- University degree is preferred or technical education with relevant experience

- 4+ years of SW design and development experience

- Knowledge of C# and .Net framework

- Experience with RESTful web service APIs, SQL

- Experience with Angular/Typescript or other JS framework

- Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD tools, public cloud services (GCP/Azure), docker, etc. is an advantage

- Experience with Agile development and SCRUM methodologies is a plus

- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal

- EU, permanent residency or established working permission, Czech not required
