Junior/Trainee IT Support Engineer

An international firm with offices and manufacturing facilities in Plzen requires a Junior IT Support Specialist to provide local development and support of industrial IT systems. The position is suitable for new university graduates or students in the final year of their master's studies requiring flexible work hours and training.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing administration and support of internal IT systems:
- Cooperating with the development and implementation of operational concepts for IT systems in the manufacturing environment (SCADA, MES, SAP)
- Implementation of new functions in existing applications and installing new SW applications into the production environment
- Support for implementation, administration and monitoring the network infrastructure
- Database administration
- Provide special technical support in cooperation with other teams as required

Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, suitable for new graduates or students in their final year seeking flexible hours and training
- Fluent Czech/Slovak with active English and ability to comunicate effectively in an international team
Technical knowledge should include:
  A good understanding of SQL and virtualization (VMware)
  Knowldege of OOP (C++ or C#/.NET)
  RestAPI
  Scripting (Linux, Lua, VB)
Knowledge of the following would be an advantage
  QR/datamatrix code
  OPC UA protocol
  CAN and FlexRay protocols
  IT manufacturing systems (SAP, MES, SCADA)
