C++ SW Developer

The Prague office of a leading international engineering firm requires a C++ Programmer to develop Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for their suite of products.  The successful applicant will become a member of the development team and be responsible for the design and implementation of various GUIs and graphical libraries.  There is also an opportunity for a Senior C++ developer developing engineering applications for the design and development as well as the enhancement of tools for automatic mesh generation.

Responsibilities:
You will be working with SW developers and mechanical engineers (both locally and internationally) to design, develop and test graphical user interface SW.  This will include 3D geometry display and manipulation to support applications for engineering simulation and design.

Requirements:
· University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related. 
· 2+ years of experience in software development using C/C++ for Unix and/or Windows based systems
· Knowledge of a revision control system such as CVS, Clearcase, etc.
· Applicants should have an interest in graphics development and relevant experience; also user interface toolkits, specifically Qt would be an advantage. 
· Proficiency in using object-oriented concepts to solve complex problems, preferably in a modelling and simulation context; understanding of complex data structures and data manipulation algorithms
· Ability to work independently as well as with others in an international and geographically diverse team environment.
· The position requires active English and a valid work visa, Czech is not required
