Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced senior frontend developer to help implement a website design revamp. Working with the UI/UX team the consultant will be tasked with evaluating the current framework in use on the website to determine whether it is fit for purpose or whether another, more suitable should be used. If the current framework is suitable then the consultant will be tasked with cleaning up the code. If a new framework is to be used then a presentation is to be given to the team on how the new framework is to be constructed The consultant will then be tasked with building standalone HTML pages to represent the new design using the aforementioned framework, which the web team can then convert to work with the content management system. Scope The contractor will be free to assess, make recommendations and changes as they see fit. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a senior frontend developer Experience with VueJS Excellent communication skills Ability to identify problems with existing processes and propose solutions Objectives To assess the current framework for the frontend (currently Avalanche and Tailwind) and confirm it is the correct framework to be using. To give a presentation to the team if the framework is to be changed (e.g. to bootstrap) detailing how it is to be constructed. To provide recommendations for areas that can be improved. To clean up existing code within the frontend to ensure future development is not hampered. To create standalone HTML pages using the chosen framework to represent the new design given by the UI/UX team.
